The SNCF has just launched the unique identifier to access all its accounts, which includes the OUIGO space, with ease.

To ensure better interoperability between its services and to facilitate navigation for its customers, SNCF has announced the availability of “Mon Identifiant Unique SNCF” to all of its passengers. The overall idea is to make it more practical and secure to connect to your OUIGO account and to the other sites and applications of the railway company thanks to a single email and password.

A single password for all SNCF apps

Thanks to My Unique SNCF Identifier, one identifier can hide another. For any new SNCF account, you will keep a single password », explains OUIGO.

If you already have an SNCF ID account, all you have to do is connect to your OUIGO account with your usual email address. Also use the same password as on other SNCF and partner sites and applications. OUIGO will then send you to a “Welcome to My SNCF ID” page. This will prompt you to enter your usual SNCF email and password. You will then have to type in a 6-digit verification code, which you will receive on your e-mail so that the platform can ensure that you are indeed at the origin of the process.

Once this step has been completed, the OUIGO site will tell you that ” your OUIGO customer account is now compatible with My Unique SNCF Identifier “. It is therefore no longer necessary to remember the passwords of all your SNCF accounts.

OUIGO and SNCF united under the same identifier

By this process, you can log in with the same password on the ouigo.com site or on the SNCF Connect platform. But what if you don’t use “My SNCF ID”? Here too, the company has tried to keep things simple.

All you have to do is connect to your OUIGO account and click on the button “I activate my SNCF ID” when it comes to you. You will then need to choose a new password and log in.

At that time, your email will become your unique identifier to access all (or almost all) SNCF customer areas, but also to find the same personal information on all the applications you use. You will also be able to find all of your purchases made via the low-cost OUIGO platform.
