here is the expected technical sheet

If the release of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro in Europe has already been confirmed by the brand, the Xiaomi 13 Lite variant has just been unveiled on video on the social network Twitter. An unboxing that confirms the first rumors: this smartphone is a copy of another Xiaomi model.

The arrival of the last of the range is becoming clearer! While the Chinese brand Xiaomi is preparing to formalize the European launch of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro at the next Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona on February 27, it is the turn of the Xiaomi 13 Lite to be revealed on video, relay the information site Gizmochina.

It is on Twitter that the Indian leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore has posted a video of the last of the siblings, on February 12: we see him unpacking a white box flocked with the name of the smartphone, gray in color, before taking out all his accessories.

Facelift for the Xiaomi Civi 2

Beyond certifying the presence of a shell and a 67 Watt charger in the box, this unboxing confirms above all that this Xiaomi 13 Lite is a carbon copy of the Xiaomi Civi 2, a smartphone released only in China at the end of September 2022 .

The Xiaomi 13 Lite should therefore have a technical sheet identical to its Chinese double:

  • 6.55-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with curved edges;
  • 120Hz refresh rate;
  • Interface MIUI 13 (Android 12);
  • Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip, 5G compatible;
  • 12 GB of RAM;
  • Three, back cameras:
    • A main module of 50 megapixels;
    • A 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module;
    • A 2-megapixel macro module;
  • Two cameras on the front:
    • A wide-angle module and an ultra-wide-angle of 32 megapixels each
  • 4500mAh battery
  • Fingerprint sensor under the screen
  • No 3.5mm mini jack

Only one version and one price confirmed

If this 13 Lite is identical to its Chinese cousin, three variants would be offered: 128 GB of storage with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage with 12 GB of RAM.

This simple name change had already been corroborated in early February by leaker Billbil-kun on Twitter, known in particular for its proven revelations on the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 or on the games added regularly in the Xbox Game Pass. The latter had also mentioned two colors (gray and blue) and a European price for this Xiaomi 13 Lite: 549 euros for a model with 256 GB of storage.

A possible European launch at MWC

At the end of January, this same leaker had already confirmed the French prices of the two other smartphones in the same range, already announced in China since December: the Xiaomi 13 (999 euros) and 13 Pro (1299 euros), both with 256 GB of storage.

Still according to Billbil-kun, the Xiaomi 13 Lite should be available from March 8, 2023. A simultaneous release which suggests that the smartphone will be presented by the brand at the same time as its big brothers, on February 27 at Mobile World Congress.
