However, according to Juliette, Marie-Pierre’s niece, her aunt “always been very sporty”, as she confided, to Var Matin. A call for help sent to the hotel

The last sign of life of Françoise Boutteaux dates from the morning of her disappearance. Around 6 a.m., the French tourist tried to contact her hotelier but the latter did not read her message until 8 a.m. Furthermore, the language barrier made communication between them impossible. “I couldn’t understand what she was saying to me.
