Here are the iPhones and iPads that would be compatible with iOS 18
Globally, all iPhones released during and after 2018 should receive the update to iOS 18. In other words: if you have iOS 17, you will normally be entitled to the new version. The list of iPhones is as follows:
Regarding iPads, models with an A10 and A10X Fusion chip would not be eligible for iOS 18. That still leaves the following:
- iPad 8 and later
- iPad mini 5 and later
- iPad Air 3 and later
- iPad Pro 2018 and later
