On the occasion of the annual MWC 2023 conference, Xiaomi unveiled a new version of its in-house overlay for smartphones: MIUI 14. We already know which models will benefit from it soon.
Xiaomi launched new Xiaomi 13 Lite, 13 and 13 Pro at the MWC 2023 conference in Barcelona, and all came out with a new version of the manufacturer’s overlay: MIUI 14. On the program, the Chinese manufacturer promises a redesigned interface with larger icons, better optimization of the space occupied by the OS or even improved security within the devices themselves. That is to say that your data will not transit to external servers.
In our test of the Xiaomi 13 Pro, we also noticed more discreet improvements, especially with regard to bugs and the fluidity of the overlay. This is very pleasant to use, and should allow less powerful smartphones to enjoy a second youth. It remains to be seen whether your device is compatible.
Which Xiaomi smartphones will receive MIUI 14 in the next few weeks?
Xiaomi has unveiled the list of several dozen smartphones that should receive MIUI in the first quarter of 2023, that is, by the end of March. Here is the full list:

Unsurprisingly, there are mostly high-end devices, as well as a few mid-range devices under the Redmi brand. This is obviously not the list of all devices that will be compatible with MIUI 14, but Xiaomi hasn’t unveiled a more specific rollout schedule than that for the coming months.
