The list of nominees for the 25th edition of the NRJ Music Awards has just been revealed and it highlights a French artist who recently announced that he wanted to put his stage career on hold.
Appointment is made on Friday November 10, 2023 ! It is on this evening that the 25th edition of NRJ Music Awards in Cannes, and of course broadcast on the organizing radio and the channel TF1. Like every year since 2000, a shower of stars should walk the red carpet and climb the steps of the Palais des Festivals, to then put on the show by offering a retrospective of the musical year. There list of nominees to NRJ Music Awards 2023 has just been revealed and it is already possible to vote in each of the 17 categories to decide between your favorite artists.
Given their success, some of them appear in several categories, such as the British Dua Lipa who sang the soundtrack of the film barbie by Greta Gerwig, named three times thanks to her anthem Dance the Night. Jumble, Jain, Juliette Armanet – at the origin of a recent controversy targeting Michel Sardou -, Angèle, Matt Pokora, Kendji Girac or even Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus and the rapper duo Bigflo & Oli, freshly confirmed for the next season of talent show The Voice as a coach.

The two Toulouse residents are not the only coaches to be among the artists nominated for the NRJ Music Awards 2023. In fact, the singer Vianney with whom they have just recorded a duet is on several occasions. Edgar’s dad can even congratulate himself on being leading the nominations this year. He is indeed likely to win the trophies of theFrench-speaking male artist, French-speaking collaboration with Call on Me (feat. Ed Sheeran) and Fire (feat. Kendji), and French-speaking clip of the year with Keep It Simple (feat. Mika). Either four chances to shine on the stage of the Palais des Festivals. As for international artists, it’s the DJ Calvin Harris which is in pole position with so many nominations.
Having no more concerts scheduled at the moment since he recently confirmed that he wanted to put his stage career on hold to devote himself fully to his family life, Vianney could therefore be present on November 10. Despite everything, the artist maintains a busy schedule since he plans to publish an album of duets on the day of the ceremonybefore fulfilling the obligations of its role as sponsor of the Telethon, for the 2023 edition which will be held the following month. He also plans to get fully involved. “I will put all my passion, all my heart into it, believe me. And I hope that there will be many of us at their side, to nourish the hope of these families, of these sick people” he confided on this subject to France Televisions.
