Every year, Bumble revealed the changes that romantic encounters will experience for the coming year. As the year 2023 soon comes to an end, the application carried out a study using internal surveys between September 21 and 26, 2023, among a sample of 26,849 Bumble members worldwide, including France. The platform then shared the results of this study. They then revealed news emerging trends in terms of seduction and criteria for singles looking for love for 2024.
According to this study, “for 63% of singles, age is no longer an important factor when looking for a relationshipand nearly 64% of French people are now more open to the idea of ​​dating someone younger”. Last April, the dating application had already conducted a survey of around 2,000 people aged 18 to 40. She then showed that more than 80% of Indians are no longer bothered by age differences in romantic relationships and consider that they belong to the past.

The study also highlights the emergence of other trends that interfere in romantic relationships. Bumble mentions in particular the “Values-Core Dating”emphasizing on the importance of values ​​and commitments. “For 1/4 of people, it is essential that their partner actively engages in politics and social causes, making them more attractive. For 1/3, it is discouraging to date someone who is not aware of current societal issues”, reveals the application.
