The Nike Cortez is back in force in 2024
For the record, the Nike Cortez are the first sneakers created by the Nike brand, 50 years ago now. This model was presented for the first time at 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. This is the first model to feature the swoosh, Nike’s famous signature. In 2024, several celebrities have chosen to bring this vintage model up to date.
Starting with Emily Ratajkowski who was seen in the streets of New York with a pair of Cortez shoes on her feet in February 2020. A precursor! But many other celebrities have opted for this retro model including Alexa Chung, Sophia Roe, and even Kristen Stewart.
