In “Here it all begins”, Hortense suffers from strange and worrying health problems. Eugénie, her mother, takes great care of her… But are her intentions really the best towards her child?
The condition of Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka) worsens and increasingly worries her relatives in Here it all begins. To find out more about her health, the young woman is about to leave the Auguste Armand Institute to take exams in Bordeaux. Eugénie (Sophie Duez), her mother, accompanies her… But are her intentions really good?
Hortense is getting worse and worse
In the episode of the TF1 soap opera which will be broadcast this Friday, June 2, 2023 from 6:30 p.m., the latter seems to be delighted to leave with her adored daughter, while Hortense is in the worst possible condition… She is also undergoing imposed treatment by Eugenie in the hope of getting better.
She drops one of her pills on the floor as she packs her suitcase. Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino), her boyfriend who is present with her, picks up the medicine and throws it in the trash. At the same time, Eugénie explains to Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) that there is a good chance that Hortense will never return to cooking school…
Then, the carer speaks with Mehdi. She cordially invites him to come to Bordeaux during the summer. Next to him, she repeats again with enthusiasm that Hortense is likely to stay there permanently… This challenges the pastry expert who finds Eugenie more and more bizarre!
Does Eugénie drug Hortense?
Finally, the mother of Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) and Hortense meets Claire (Catherine Marchal). The teacher confides in Eugenie that she hopes that the third year will recover quickly since she wishes more than anything to become a teacher within the Institute. Here again, Eugenie’s reaction is curious because she gets annoyed…
Later, Mehdi notices that Hortense is dizzy after drinking a coffee served by Eugénie… Intrigued, he then goes to retrieve the capsule he had got rid of. He realizes that he once took this pill to regulate his thyroid! The side effects were the same as the symptoms suffered by Hortense…
Mehdi is worried. With astonishment, he supposes that Eugenie voluntarily poisons her child to be able to rescue her, then to make her leave the Auguste Armand Institute! To be continued in Here it all begins.
