AlloCiné was invited on the set of the new disaster ark of “Here everything begins”. The actors of the series then revealed to us the advantages and disadvantages arising from this exceptional challenge…
Thursday, June 22 in Here it all begins, a tragedy struck some students and teachers of the Auguste Armand Institute: while they were taking an end-of-year exam in a train, the wagons derailed and a terrible accident s is produced! Several injuries are to be deplored… as well as missing persons. Are they even still alive? Doubt hovers right now…
Disaster outside the Institute
To set up this disaster arch, the teams of the series left the castle of Calvières temporarily. Everyone came to the site of the famous Cévennes Steam Train. An exceptional filming location to which AlloCiné was invited last April. On site, the stars of Here it all begins told us how much playing in this particular setting delighted them.
Vanessa Demouy (Rose, who will go through difficult times with Antoine) explained to us, for example: “We shoot in an extraordinary setting at the castle. But even if you’re immersed in something magnificent, you end up getting used to it… So it’s good to get out of this enclosure, it’s like a little ventilation. We have the impression of participating in another project even though they are the same characters.”
Some restrictions…
Just like the one who plays her sister on the screen, Elsa Lunghini (who gave us terrible news about Joachim) shares this point of view. Nevertheless, she told us that this shoot also had some constraints: “This shooting is not always easy. It’s not the most glamorous thing in the world, it’s even a bit complicated.“
“We leave the castle, we shoot in a rather cramped place, everyone has to find their place… It’s a bit of a mess, continued the interpreter of Clotilde. We finished late sometimes and it was very cold, there was a lot of wind. For the director and us, it could have been a little hard.”
… but a nice challenge to take up!
Benjamin Douba-Paris (Solal, who will play the hero with Rose) also recognized that an adaptation was necessary but that all this was part of this very interesting challenge: “There are constraints but it’s ultimately very cool. Yes, it’s cramped but it’s so exciting, actually! We shoot at night, it can be boring, but at the castle we work office hours. There, it allows us to work differently and it’s great.”
The young man who plays in parallel in Tropiques Criminels added: “We shoot less quickly and we can wonder about our acting intentions. Particular attention is paid to the direction of the actors and that is precious. It does us a lot of good as actors to do something else, to film elsewhere or to do green screen…“
“Adapting to new settings”
Same story for Claire Romain who told us: “We are limited on a cinema format because we take more time to box the scenes. It’s cool because it allows us to be able to present more things, to have a little more fun, to adapt to new settings… I told myself right away that it was going to be great! We are really lucky.“
Finally, the young woman sees here an ideal opportunity to forge new links with her partners and to get to know Ambre better: “I didn’t necessarily have the opportunity to shoot with Nicholas Anselmo [Eliott, qui va se marier avec Greg en même temps qu’un autre couple emblématique, ndlr] And Vanessa Demouy since our characters do not evolve in the same circles.“
“We also discover facets of Amber because she turns out to be claustrophobic in this closed environment.
