In “Here it all begins”, Jasmine tries to restore peace to the Leroys… But the love triangle she formed with Jim and Thibault does not help her in her endeavor! For AlloCiné, Zoï Sévérin talks about the future of her character.
Jasmine does everything possible to help the members of the Leroy family come together in Here it all begins. But between her new relationship with Jim (Loan Becmont), the tensions with her ex Thibault (Félix Pacaut) and the revelations of Iris (Julie Dray plays the role of Marc’s ex (Stéphane Blancafort), it’s not easy for her to position yourself in this complex equation!
For AlloCiné, Zoï Sévérin returns to this important plot. At our microphone, the interpreter of the young woman also provides some information on the continuation of the adventures of her character…
AlloCiné: In “Here it all begins”, will Jasmine continue to work to bring the Leroy clan together after the revelations about Iris?
Zoï Sévérin: It’s true that things are complicated between them at the moment and Jasmine will actually try to calm things down. She will try to find solutions, even if it means putting herself aside. She will try to “repair” this family so that it finds a kind of osmosis. But it’s going to be difficult for her given her position at the moment.
Will relations with his mother-in-law eventually soften?
Once Iris sees that Jasmine is acting for the good of the Leroy family, she should be nicer to her…
Will Jasmine nevertheless be angry with him because of his recent manipulations?
No because Jasmine’s character is super compassionate. Plus, they are both mothers. Jasmine will therefore rather understand her in relation to her illness. She will better understand her position and understand the reasons for her lies to place herself on Iris’s side.
Will Jim and Jasmine’s relationship be the talk of the Institute?
It would be difficult if that wasn’t the case (laughs) It’s complicated for everyone to accept this new couple out of respect for Thibault. We’re going to get Jasmine into trouble because of her relationship with Jim (…)
It actually requires everyone to take sides, everyone will want to take a position (…) There are some who are very friendly with Thibault. And Jim isn’t the most popular character at the Institute either! In the end, it’s a couple that will divide.
But will this couple last?
For now, it’s here to stay. Afterwards with Here it all begins, we are never safe from something happening! (laughs)
How will the cohabitation between Jasmine and Thibault take place within the school?
There are going to be several steps between them. Jasmine will stand back once again. Yes, she has her love story to live with Jim but at the same time she will understand the pain that Thibault feels.
She will give him the freedom to react as he wants, whether in anger, in sadness, in revenge… He is a character who is rather peaceful but what he suffers is still quite “violent” . Maybe this will reveal something else about him…
Why do you think Jasmine turned to Jim?
Sometimes there are things that cannot be explained in love. Basically, Jasmine wasn’t interested in Jim because he was haughty and did anything. She developed a sort of hatred towards him we will say… However, as they say: “From hatred to love, there is only one step”!
It was in spite of herself that these feelings were revealed. She fought against it for quite a long time, but when the heart speaks, no matter how much we want to avoid it, after a while it’s the heart that wins!
And you, Zoï, which of the Leroy brothers would you prefer to see Jasmine in a relationship with?
These are two things that are different. With Thibault, it was softer and calmer while Jim will challenge Jasmine more. This is passion! Jim is a colorful character, like her. In fact, both will help: Jasmine will perhaps tend to soothe Jim who has a lot of anger inside him.
As for the latter, he will perhaps rekindle a flame in Jasmine, especially in the kitchen. So, I think it’s more interesting for Jasmine to be with Jim.
What prospects are emerging for Jasmine next year in “Here it all begins” as she is currently finishing her third year?
Indeed, it is the end of the first three years at the Institut Auguste Armande. Then, there are the two years of the master’s degree remaining and for the moment, there are no plans for Jasmine to leave. She still has things to learn, her son is around, there is her new relationship… She still has plenty of adventures to experience here, at least I hope so (laughs)
So you still plan to be in the series for a little while?
Yes. I feel good. Jasmine is a character that I really like because she is constantly evolving. A lot of stories happen to him and for me it’s always super cool to see so many things. I am not to be pitied, there is no reason for me to leave.
