On July 29 in Here it all begins, Theo doubts, the students make a disconcerting discovery about Ruben, while the chef Cardone destabilizes Salomé.
In the episode ofHere it all starts Friday, July 29, finally, Marius (Damas Roy) is still alive and is doing quite well. Greg (Mikael Mittelstadt) promises him that from now on they will manage to never leave him alone again. While the latter shows empathy and concern, Marius ends up confessing to him that he was not attacked. He pretended to get Greg interested in him. He is still in love with him. He also announces to him that he does not intend to pursue the championship. Meanwhile, love is still in good shape on the side of Salomé (Aurélie Pons) and Swan (Cyril Durel). But as the day’s ordeal begins, the chef Cardone (Alexandra Vandernoot) takes Salomé to task, throwing her in the face that she was the one who asked Swan to seduce her. And is delighted to have found the fault of his opponent. What to disturb the young woman who, during the ordeal, has her mind elsewhere. So she decides to get two months from Swan. But Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) interrupts her so that she dives back into her preparations. During the tasting, the director of the Institute argues with his clerk for not having been efficient. What makes chef Cardone laugh softly which adds a layer.
Shortly after, Swan joins Salomé at the beach, but it is closed. The young man does not understand what he could have done wrong, so she ends up telling him everything, demanding explanations. Swan promises her that he did not hit on her at the request of her boss. Salome understands thatit was a plan to destabilize her during the test – which worked wonderfully. Chef Bury (David Marchal) then summoned the participants in the competitions to give them the results of this second test: Delobel (Joseph Malerba) finished fourth, Teyssier was third which only enabled him to obtain one point, while Cardonne is second and Demir (Sofiane Belmouden) wins this stage. By adding the points won on this event and the previous one, the four competitors are tied. At the beach, Enzo (Azize Diabaté), Eliott (Nicolas Anselmo), Salomé and Anaïs (Julie Sassoust) are surprised by the absence of Marius. Greg announces to them that he has decided to leave the championship because of recent events, including the fact that his father was almost attacked. This information tilts in Anaïs who believes that the behavior of Ruben (Thomas Vernant) is strange and recalls that he was absent for a long time during the event. But what would be his motive? After checking, it turns out that Ruben and Alban (Franck Libert) know each other wellfor winning a baking competition together two years ago.
Théo doubts, Amber tries to reassure him
Théo (Khaled Alouach) invites Ambre (Claire Romain) and Tom (Tom Darmon) to revisit a dish from Auguste Armand to put it on the menu as quickly as possible. But this idea is not to Clotilde’s taste (Elsa Lunghini) who finds that their revisit has nothing to do with the original recipe. She thinks he should rather present his recipe as a personal creation. Theo notices his bad faith and points the finger at the fact thatshe can’t stand people touching her father’s recipes. However, since this tough exchange, the young chef has been completely lost. He no longer knows what he wants and is aggressive towards Tom who tries to offer him other recipes. So much so that he slams the door. Théo admits to Ambre that because of the Vatel price, he feels like everyone is waiting for him around the corner, which makes him sick. Amber reminds him that he is extremely gifted, that he has nothing to fear and advises him to trust himself.
The courses provided by Kelly (Axelle Dodier) bear fruit. While chef Listrac (Virginie Caliari) tastes a preparation made by Tony (Kévin Dias), she showers him with compliments. And even when he admits to having benefited from a helping hand, Tony is congratulated by Olivia who considers that the technique he used is not easy to learn. At the end of the course, Laetitia (Florence Coste) invites Tony to her home for an aperitif but he declines, preferring to avoid crossing paths with Guillaume (Bruno Putzulu). He indeed reveals to her the remarks made the day before by his companion, but Laetitia thinks that the latter expressed himself badly. Eventually, Tony agrees. Except that the atmosphere becomes heavy when Guillaume arrives.
