In the episode ofHere it all starts from Wednesday, October 26, 2022, Rose (Vanessa Demouy) has decided to hire Thomas Lacroix (Ifig Brouard) for the next module of the Master. Antoine (Frédéric Diefenthal) worries about the impact this could have on Kelly (Axelle Dodier), but Rose refuses to penalize the Master’s students for a personal story. Antoine still advises him to talk about it with Laëtitia (Florence Coste), who might not like to meet his ex in the hallways every day. Rose points out that the world does not revolve around Laëtitia, just as she enters Myriel’s office. The atmosphere is more than tense between the two women. Upset, Laëtitia finds refuge in the park with Gaëtan (Terence Telle) and Joachim (Janis Abrikh). She is angry with Rose for having hired Thomas despite the situation and has every intention of doing everything so that the latter never sets foot in the Institute.

Later, Thomas comes to sign his contract at the Institute and comes across Laëtitia. The latter forbids him to sign anything, but Thomas is not impressed. He really wants to teach at the Institute to be able to get closer to Kelly. He blames himself for having rejected her at the start. Laëtitia, however, does not believe in her repentant father number. She threatens him to reveal to his wife that he abandoned his first daughter, which could compromise his right to custody of his second. Against the wall, Thomas agrees to leave but advises him to think seriously. Remorse never goes away, even after years. On the way out, Thomas meets Rose, who manages to convince him to sign his contract…

Samia and Ethan grow closer

Chef Landiras’ lesson having been postponed, the first-year students have a hole in their schedule. Ethan (Rik Kleve) offers Samia (Emma Boulanouar) to leave the Institute to clear her mind, but the young woman doesn’t want to. During their last class, chef Lisrac (Olivia Caliari) hinted that her dish could be improved. So she decided to work on it. A little further, Olivia hears their conversation and takes Samia between four eyes. She advises him to stop putting pressure on himself. Cooking is pleasure, and the pleasure is experienced outside. Her recipes will only be better if she takes the time to go out with her friends. On the advice of her teacher, Samia goes back to see Ethan and suggests that he go for a walk on the beach. Ethan accepts on one condition: that they don’t talk once about cooking.

On the beach, Samia finds it difficult to relax. She explains to Ethan that as a child, she would much rather play football than do her homework. But one day, her parents’ restaurant went bankrupt while they were working a lot. She understood that to be successful, you had to not only be good, you had to be excellent. Ethan confesses his admiration, and Samia kisses him.

Vic at the heart of all suspicion

In the early morning, Billie (Margaux Kaguilar) and Samia (Emma Boulanouar) meet Théo (Khaled Alouach) at home. Worried about their friend Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie), whom they saw crying the day before, they ask Theo questions about their argument. The young man explains to them that Vic is the one who put cannabis in the Institute’s CBD reserve. It is therefore because of her that Landiras (Julien Alluguette) and Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka) found themselves under the influence. Billie and Samia are shocked, but forbid Theo from reporting Vic to Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche). If he does, Vic will be fired. In the infirmary, Teyssier, Axel (Thomas DaCosta) and Constance (Sabine Perraud) wonder who could have mixed CBD with cannabis. Charlene (Pola Petrenko), she is convinced that it is Vic. The young woman has been obsessed with Theo since her arrival at the Institute. Be that as it may, Teyssier has no intention of questioning him. Now that Greg (Mikael Mittelstadt) and Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino) have been fired, he believes he has done what is necessary. Charlene doesn’t see things that way. She worries about her brother.

Later, Teyssier asks Théo to join him in the kitchen and asks him about Vic. The young man assures him that Vic has nothing to do with the cannabis mixed with Double A’s CBD, but this does not convince his father. Be that as it may, Teyssier has made a decision: he entrusts Theo with the Halloween menu. If he manages to offer him something exceptional, he will return his position to Double A. During the service of the application restaurant, Hortense expresses her doubts to Enzo (Aziz Diabaté). She is certain that Vic put cannabis in Mehdi’s dessert to get him fired from the Double A. Enzo finds it hard to believe, but decides to summon the Circle to find out for sure. In the secret room, Vic refuses to admit his mistake and Theo comes to his defense. Enzo and Ambre (Claire Romain) nevertheless do not trust them and decide to distance themselves from the Cercle. Once alone with Vic, Billie confronts her friend, but the latter continues to lie straight in her eyes. Billie, who knows the truth, then summons her out of her life.

Vic finds Théo in the commissary and thanks him for defending himself against the Cercle. Théo admits having done it out of attachment to her, but still prefers that they keep their distance. Later, Hortense goes to see her sister in her room to make her confess. Once again, Vic denies it and accuses her sister of harassment. She goes so far as to attack him on his bulimia, which puts Hortense in a rage. The two young women come to blows, forcing Mehdi to separate them. In tears, Vic finds refuge on the beach. Théo, who got wind of his fight with Hortense, goes to see her. Vic explains to her that the current never passed between her sister and her. She is convinced that Hortense has always understood that something was wrong with her. Not only is she a bad person, but she can never hold on to the people she loves. Maybe it’s best that she stays alone. Touched by these confidences, Theo takes her hand and assures her that she is not alone. The couple exchange a kiss.
