In the next episode of “Here it all begins”… At the Institute, Cardone blows hot and cold… For his part, Antoine declares his love for Teyssier. Students and teachers meet new people.

The brigades are formed for the Coupe de France
Following the return of Teyssier who has decided to represent the West region as coach of Kelly’s brigade for the Coupe de France, Cardone tries to regain control of the situation. She summons Kelly, Salomé and Malik to her office to threaten them: if they participate in the Coupe de France, they will be fired from the Institute. While Kelly and Salomé stand up to the director, Malik has some reservations and prefers to withdraw from the competition.
Leaving the office, Kelly finds her mother in the park and proudly tells her what happened. But she thinks that she would have been better off giving in to Cardone’s blackmail. Having received Kelly’s request for dismissal from his new superior, Antoine also asks the young girl to think carefully about the consequences of her actions. Laetitia emphasizes that she will not have to face the chef Rosset – who fired them like trash at the time when she worked as a cleaning lady in her hotel – who is part of the jury. But Kelly fully intends to participate in the Coupe de France, whatever the cost.
At Double A, while she is setting up with Malik, Maya calls him a coward for letting Kelly and Salomé down in front of Cardone. The young man defends himself by explaining that he has everything to lose as a First Year. After the service, Maya finds Kelly and Salomé at the amphitheater to ask them to take her on as a clerk to replace Malik. The girls readily accept. So the entire brigade meets at Teyssier to train.
For his part, while he is in class, Malik receives a message from Maya who warns him that she has taken his place within Kelly’s brigade. He then overhears Jasmine and Jim discussing their choice of clerks for their own brigade and offers to be one. To convince them, Malik reveals that he has the gift of being able to recognize all the ingredients of a recipe having only tasted it once. After taking a conclusive test, Jasmine accepts him into her brigade.
A little later, Jasmine makes an appointment with Kelly to tell her herself that Malik has joined her squad. She adds that she is really happy that she is back in the competition because she deserves it. As far as she is concerned, Jasmine promises not to give her a low blow during the competition. Kelly agrees to face her fairly: may the best win.
After a training session at the studio with Jim and Malik, Jasmine takes care of putting everything away and cleaning up alone. At the same time, Cardone comes by to see their work. Jasmine presents him with their plate: hot oyster with Breton cider confit and shallots. After tasting it, Cardone calls it “passable.” She puts pressure on Jasmine to win the Coupe de France: if this is not the case, she can say goodbye to her school diploma…
A new teacher arrives
In the Institute’s park, David spots an unknown face: a blonde woman, a palette in her hand, walks with resolute steps towards the administrative building. He can’t help but approach her, making several jokes that fall flat. Once the young woman leaves, David makes fun of her strange behavior. Clotilde reframes it by explaining that it is Alice Wiesberg, the pastry teacher who will replace Landiras during the Coupe de France. Chef Armand adds that she taught in Lille at the Cardone school. It was the latter who recruited him.
In class, Carla and David continue to be surprised by Alice’s behavior. Indeed, the latter shows a certain frankness towards the young man whose humor she does not understand and she cannot stand the noise of the earthenware.
After this first experience with her, Carla talks to Rose about it and describes the professor as a robot. Once alone with Clotilde, Rose suggests helping Alice integrate into the teaching team.
The Armand sisters organize a tea party at Double A and invite Alice to officially welcome her to the Institute. They thus note that this one is special to say the least: this time she demonstrates honesty towards Cardone whom she describes as brilliant but perfidious.
Antoine reconnects with Teyssier
Despite his numerous attempts to call, Antoine systematically gets Teyssier’s answering machine. If Penelope thinks that the former director perfectly understood why Antoine had voted for Cardone and assumes that he has moved on, Antoine nevertheless feels the need to be reassured on this subject. Encouraged by his girlfriend, he leaves a voice message for Teyssier in which he tells her what is on his heart.
Later, Antoine meets Leroy and takes the opportunity to ask him if he has any news from Teyssier. Marc retorts that he knows his best friend well enough to know that it is better to leave him alone while he digests his betrayal. Antoine is uncomfortable.
Despite everything, Antoine decides to go to Teyssier, who is doing his business for Brittany. He admits to the deputy director that his message made him very happy. He also reassures Antoine by perfectly understanding why he voted for Cardone. Relieved, Antoine wishes his former colleague to win the Coupe de France de cuisine.
