In the episode ofHere it all starts from Tuesday, March 22, 2022, Chef Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) is surprised to see his nephew, Axel (Thomas Da Costa), show up at the Institute after being kicked out of his house. Without really giving him a choice, the young man asks his uncle to put him up. Teyssier fears that his brother, Philippe, will be angry with him for taking in his son, but agrees to talk about it with Constance (Sabine Perraud). Later, the pastry chef asks Axel for an explanation. The latter says that after a quarrel between his mother and a neighbor, he decided to take revenge and broke the latter’s car. Angry, his father kicked him out. Emmanuel agrees to take him in, but Constante insists on telling his mother, Lola. The pastry chef does not want to deal with his brother, who is angry with him for having made a career in pastry when he had to take over his parents’ business, but Constance forces him to do so.

In the center of Calvières, Salome (Aurélie Pons) and Anaïs (Julie Sassoust) find a dog locked in a car. They plan to call the SPA when Axel arrives and forces the door. While Teyssier’s nephew is giving the animal a drink, the owner of the car approaches. He threatens to call the police, but Axel reminds him that he risks a fine of several thousand euros for having left his dog locked in his car. The behavior of the young man does not leave Salomé indifferent.

During the pastry class, chef Landiras (Julien Alluguette) asks the students to imagine a dessert using luxury confectionery. Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka), Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino), Eliott (Nicolas Anselmo) and Greg (Mikaël Mittelstadt) decide to go with a dessert inspired by gummy bears. The little brigade decides to use the candies to make a jelly, but Hortense can’t control herself and eats all the sweets. Faced with Greg’s anger, the young cook offers to reproduce the candies based on their taste. During the tasting, however, Zacharie notices that the candies are not his. Hortense confesses everything to him and against all odds, the pastry chef authorizes them to start the dessert from scratch. And for good reason, he knows how comforting sweets can be. That’s why he likes to prepare it. Hortense confides that during her childhood, her parents forbade her sweets. She would therefore stuff herself with it in secret, to the point that it became compulsive…

Deva is expelled, Lionel makes a revelation

Deva (Kathy Packianathan) goes to see Souleymane (Dembo Camilo) in the vegetable garden to tell him that Vikash (Harmandeep Palminder) has arrived in France. But before the young woman finds the courage to tell her the truth, Vikash arrives behind her and introduces herself to Souleymane. Upset, the young man does not say a word until Deva and her fiancé leave the premises. Later, in the kitchen, Deva and Lionel (Lucien Belvès) give Vikash a taste of their dish. Impressed, the latter announces to Deva that they have found premises in Pondicherry for his future restaurant. The restaurant needs work, but that gives Deva time to finish her studies. The young woman reminds him that she is not even sure if she will stay at the Institute, to which Vikash replies that even if she were expelled, it would not be the end of the world…

A little later, Souleymane finds Deva in the back kitchen. The young man suffers from the arrival of Vikash and wants to know where they are. For fear of embarrassing his family, Deva decides to pursue her projects with Vikash and end her relationship with Souleymane. She thinks her feelings for him will eventually pass. At the end of the day, Julia (Valérie Baurens) goes to the Institute to inform Deva of the Prefect’s decision. Although very touched by the story of the young Indian, the latter considers that she is partly responsible for the accident of Stéphane Lanneau (Pierre Bénézit). So he decided not to grant her a student visa. Now, the young woman has two days to return to India, or risk being placed in a detention center. Upset, the young woman announces the news to Kelly (Axelle Dodier), Vikash and Souleymane. The latter advances to take her in his arms, but Deva rushes into those of Vikash. Wounded, Souleymane slips away. For her part, Kelly informs Lionel of the Prefect’s decision. The young man then makes a major revelation to him: Deva and Souleymane had nothing to do with his father’s accident, since it was he who threw himself under the wheels of the car to commit suicide.
