However, he hits a wall. At the end of the day, Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) goes to see Théo at the commissary and offers him his help with the intent. The chief refuses, but Vic insists and expresses his support for him. She knows full well what it feels like to be constantly compared to a sibling, having always had to prove herself against Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka). His sister has always been the good student. She preferred to have fun and play basketball. And even though she had reached a professional level, her parents never found it good enough in comparison to Hortense’s exploits. She advises him to send his father to hell…

Louis (Fabian Wolfrom) meets Claire (Catherine Marchal) and Olivia (Virginie Caliari) in the park of the Institute. He has an appointment with Livio (Corentin Pellis) in the kitchen and is delighted to work with the young chef. Louis’ good humor does not escape Olivia, who is not used to having pleasant exchanges with him. Claire explains that Louis recently received a posthumous letter from Auguste (Francis Huster), in which the high chief told him that he was proud of him. In the kitchen, Louis has an open-hearted conversation with Livio. He explains to her that Augustus never recognized him. He struggles to situate himself in relation to his heritage, but feels more and more legitimate to pass it on. The conversation is interrupted by a message from Charlène (Pola Petrenko), who asks Louis to join her in the park. The duo takes the opportunity to take a break. In the park, Charlène reminds Louis that they had planned to take photos for their Instagram account. The young chef accepts to please his fiancée, but does not do his best. Tired, Charlène ends up blaming him for his lack of ambition…

Anais attempts suicide

In the early morning, Salomé (Aurélie Pons) finds Anaïs (Julie Sassoust) in tears in the park of the Institute. The young woman blames herself for having launched the bet responsible for the death of her brother, Mathieu, and also feels guilty for having no memory of that day. Salomé explains to her that certain traumas are followed by memory loss and that she cannot blame herself for that. Their conversation is interrupted by David (Liam Hellmann), whom Anaïs had arranged to meet. She admits to him having watched Mathieu’s video on her computer, and now knowing that the person responsible for his death is not him, but her. David reminds her that it was all an accident, but Anaïs can’t help thinking that she should have died instead of Mathieu. To change her mind, David offers her to go with him, but Anaïs doesn’t want to. She prefers to be alone and simply asks him to send her the videos of Mathieu that he still has on his computer.

Lisandro (Agustin Galiana) can’t reach Anaïs. Worried, he goes to see Salomé at the pop-up restaurant. The young chef explains to her that Anaïs discovered that she was behind the bet that killed Mathieu. David had taken the blame on himself to protect her. Without waiting, Salomé and Lisandro go to see David, who informs them that Anaïs told her and repeated that she should have died instead of her brother… Lisandro hypothesizes that she left for a beach that ‘she appreciates. The trio therefore go looking for her, when Anaïs puts her phone on the beach and goes swimming off fully dressed. Arriving on the beach, David, Lisandro and Salomé find her phone.
