Here it all starts (spoilers): under the spell of Theo, Vic takes the first step

On October 17 in Here everything begins (TF1, 6:35 p.m.), Charlène takes over the ephemeral restaurant, Constance lies to Théo and Vic takes the first step with him…

In the episode ofHere it all starts from Monday, October 17, 2021, inspired by Chef Meyer’s module, Olivia (Virginie Caliari) asks her first-graders to draw on their memories to cook. They will have to start from a recipe that marked them in their childhood, and turn it into a gourmet dish. Samia (Emma Boulanouar) takes advantage of the lesson to try to get closer to Ethan (Rik Kleve), but the young man sends her off. Now that she has asked him to distance himself, she will have to assume. Later, Samia decides to go with a Basque chicken recipe. Ethan chooses to revisit the chicken waterzoï. Chef Listrac teases them by pointing out that they have both chosen a chicken-based recipe, and the competition between the two apprentices starts up again… Later, at the CDI, David (Liam Hellmann) questions Ethan on his relationship with Samia. Ethan swears that nothing is going on with his classmate, but to provoke him, David speaks ill of her. He goes so far as to call her “crazy”, making fun of Samia’s nerd side. Annoyed, Ethan gets angry and leaves the place.

Now that she’s been named chef of the pop-up restaurant, Charlène (Pola Petrenko) spends a lot of time working. Louis (Fabian Wolfrom) complains about it, but his girlfriend doesn’t want to hear it. This job is very important to her, and her position as chef is now her number 1 priority. During the service, Charlene finds it difficult to hide her stress. However, she is doing very well. When a customer tells her about their egg allergy, she immediately twists the recipe on the menu to serve him the dish in a vegan version. On returning, Charlène tells her day to Louis. The young woman recounts the smallest details of her first service, but Louis does not listen to her. He covers her with kisses, making her understand that he wants to share an intimate moment with her. Annoyed, Charlene pushes him away. She has the impression that what she is saying does not interest Louis and cannot stand him. To be forgiven, the young man promises to come see her work the next day.

Vic kisses Theo

At the Teyssiers, Emmanuel (Khaled Alouach) and Axel (Thomas DaCosta) are preparing to leave for Madrid. Before leaving for the airport, Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) meets Theo and warns him. If he doesn’t stand square, his Double A probation will turn into a dismissal. Constance (Sabine Perraud) stands up for her son, accusing her husband of being mean to him. But for Teyssier, Theo deserves only that. He behaved very badly with Axel and needs to come down to earth…

At Double A, Greg (Mikaël Mittelstadt) and Mehdi (Marvin Pellegrino) announce to the brigade that they have partly revisited the menu. Greg notably modified all the dishes to add his Delobel signature. Unsurprisingly, the initiative of the two young chefs does not please Theo. The young man does not hide it and openly provokes Greg, forcing Mehdi to intervene to calm the tensions. During the service, Theo ignores the hierarchy and gives his orders to the brigade as if he were still chief. He also hints that Greg’s recipe is wrong. Annoyed, the young chef Delobel raises his voice and reminds him that he is the chef now. Theo sends him off and leaves the kitchen.

Not condoning Greg’s attitude, Mehdi asks Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) to go talk to Theo. She tries to get him back in the kitchen, but the young man isn’t sure if he wants to continue working at Double A as a second. He is tired of his life being dictated by his father and plans to leave the region… Neither one nor two, Vic is going to repeat his conversation with Theo in Constance. She claims to have a migraine and takes advantage of her visit to the infirmary to inform him of what Theo told her, that if he did not recover his position at Double A, he would leave the Institute. Constance decides to go talk to her son, encouraging him to persevere. By demoting him, Teyssier wanted to test him, push him to respect the hierarchy. But Theo doesn’t see things that way. For him, his father is simply trying to humiliate him. So he prefers to leave. To hold him back, Constance invents a lie. She assures him that Teyssier intends to give him back his job when he returns from Madrid at the end of the week…

At the end of the day, Theo will apologize to Greg and Mehdi. He explains that he has trouble adapting to his new position, but promises to make an effort. The two chefs agree to give her a second chance, under the delighted gaze of Vic… A little later, she and Theo meet in the locker room. The young woman is delighted that Theo has decided to stay, especially since they will now be able to take over the Circle. Theo finds her very obstinate, but recognizes that he sometimes has a very hard character, too. Under the spell, Vic kisses her, but Theo does not kiss him back. He explains coming out of a complicated love story… Embarrassed, Vic slips away.
