Here it all starts (spoilers): Vic manipulates Theo and pits him against Teyssier

On October 12 in Here it all begins (TF1, 6:35 p.m.), the author of Olivia’s sweet word is revealed, Louis takes Kelly under his wing and Vic pits Theo against his father…

In the episode ofHere it all starts from Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Olivia (Virginie Caliari) suspects Joachim (Janis Abrikh) of being the author of the anonymous sweet note she received. Not only was he the one who gave it to her, but he gave her lots of compliments the night before. Claire (Catherine Marchal) finds it hard to believe that Joachim has fallen in love with Olivia, especially since he is in a relationship with Clotilde (Elsa Lunghini). Arriving in the kitchen, Olivia comes across Joachim and asks him for cash if he is the author of the sweet word. Amused, Joachim replies that it’s not his style to flirt like this. Moreover, he is very much in love with Clotilde. He then hypothesizes that the note was written by a student… for another student.

At the end of his course with the students of 1e year, Olivia says she found a sweet note in her knife case the day before. She leaves it on the counter and invites its owner to pick it up. Ethan (Rik Kleve) looks embarrassed, which Samia notices. The young man admits to being the author of the word and hoped to reconnect with her in this way. Samia is clear with him: she wants to stay focused on the lessons, and nothing will ever happen between them. Ethan acknowledges the blow, recovers his note and throws it in the trash. After he leaves, Samia goes to get him the bed… At the end of the day, Olivia finds Claire and tells her that the sweet word was not intended for her after all. The chef admits to being disappointed, but notices that the story of the word did not leave Claire indifferent. Wouldn’t their story be over?

Louis takes Kelly under his wing

Following his altercation with Kelly (Axelle Dodier), who suggested that his exercise on the aioli was too simple, Louis (Fabian Wolfrom) decided to make the students of 2e year on a more difficult dish: lasagna with caviar and young leeks. Ambre (Claire Romain) and Jasmine (Zoï Séverin) find the exercise too difficult, but Louis leaves them no choice. A little later, the young professor finds Kelly in the park of the Institute. He points out to her that he has little time left to finish his dish, but the teenager doesn’t care. She needs to get some fresh air. To rush her, Louis talks to her about his father. He reveals to him that at his age, Thomas Lacroix had tried the competition of the Institute. He dreamed of being a great chef, but failed and ended up as a baker. According to Louis, Thomas rejected Kelly because he is jealous of her. It is therefore important that Kelly work to become a great chef and later throw her success in her face. Remotivated by the words of her chef, Kelly returns to the kitchen. In the end, she presents a perfect dish to Louis.

At the end of the day, Salomé (Aurélie Pons) meets Louis and thanks him for what he has done for Kelly. However, one detail bothers her: Thomas Lacroix has never passed the entrance examination for the Institute. She is surprised that Louis manipulated Kelly for his good, that not being in his habits. She suspects him of wanting to help her student because she was rejected by her father, like him, but Louis totally denies it.

Vic mounts Theo against Teyssier

At breakfast, Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) arranges to meet his son at 10 a.m. to work on their dessert. Théo (Khaled Alouach) would have liked to have had more time to think about it and make proposals to him, but Teyssier leaves him no choice. Once again, the young chief has the impression of being under the orders of his father. He hesitates to give up, but Charlene (Pola Petrenko) defends him. If his father chose him, it’s for a reason. Arriving at the Institute, Théo joins Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie), Samia (Emma Boulanouar) and Billie (Margaux Kaguilar) in the secret room. All three are in the process of passing the integration tests to Enzo (Aziz Diabaté). Theo informs them of his decision to leave the Circle to devote himself to his priorities. Hearing the news, Enzo also considers leaving the Circle, but Vic convinces him to stay.

After the meeting, Vic, Samia and Billie settle down in the park to revise. Samia and Billie fear that Enzo will leave the Circle, but Vic is certain that she has succeeded in convincing him. Anyway, the problem is not Enzo, but Theo. Without him, the Circle is worth nothing, and she may not progress enough to last until the second half. Vic has only one solution: find Theo’s flaw to convince him to rejoin the Circle. Meanwhile, Teyssier and Théo meet in the kitchen to work on their dessert. The tone does not take long to rise, the pastry chef reproaching his son for only proposing bad ideas to him. Angry, Teyssier puts pressure on him…

Concerned about his altercation with his father, Theo makes a few mistakes at the Double A. Axel (Thomas DaCosta) notably points out to him that he put peanuts in the dish of an allergic client, avoiding a possible catastrophe. Vic takes advantage of the situation to go talk to Theo and compares his conflicted relationship with his father with his own relationship with Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka). The young man slowly opens up to her… After the service, Theo thanks Axel for his help a little earlier. He explains that he is upset with his father. Axel is understanding, but pleads the cause of Teyssier. If he is so hard on Theo, it’s because he believes in him and wants to push him to the best. A little later, Vic overhears a conversation between Teyssier and Axel. The director learned that his nephew had helped Theo the same afternoon and congratulates him. To convince Theo to rejoin the Circle, Vic will repeat this conversation to him but adds to it. She claims that Teyssier told Axel that Theo was worthless as a chef and that he would have preferred to make his dessert with Axel…
