In the next episode of “Here it all begins”, within the Circle, the masks fall despite Vic’s efforts to keep up appearances. Souleymane faces a tough choice about his future.

Friday, January 27 in Here it all begins…
All the former members of the Circle want its dissolution, with the exception of Vic. She tells them that Teyssier puts pressure on her, asking Mehdi for help to calm him down. But because of his betrayal, no one trusts him anymore. To make up for it, Vic shows them the box of secrets she recovered, before setting it on fire. But that is not enough to regain the trust of his comrades.
For his part, Teyssier announces to Clotilde that he wants to fire Victorine from the Institute for a fortnight. He wants to pressure her into talking about the mysterious ally who helped him bring down Ferigno. Clotilde suggests that he drop the case.
Rose and Clotilde join Vic in the secret room to warn her of Teyssier’s plans. However, they promise to protect her. As for Vic, she guarantees them to keep their secret. As a sign of confidence, Rose and Clotilde order him to dissolve the Circle.
Later, Vic meets Hortense and Mehdi in the park. His sister asks about him, especially about his relationship with Théo. Vic tells her that he preferred to break up with her. If Hortense feels sorry for her, this is not the case for Mehdi, who lets his girlfriend in on the secret about the Cercle and Ferigno. While Vic is depressed in his room, Hortense visits him with the intention of lecturing him. But she holds back, out of compassion. Vic is jealous of her benevolence and generosity. She thinks she is unable to act in the same way. However, Hortense stresses that her behavior is hurting her and that she absolutely must change.
After the cocktail party concluding the Chefs’ Championship, Billie convinces Samia to forgive Vic and become friends with her again.
Meanwhile, Rose hopes to finally be at peace. But Clotilde thinks that Teyssier has doubts about her. Especially since if she continues to protect Vic when she is an average student who does not particularly deserve her place at the Institute, it will end up accentuating her suspicions. Rose nevertheless remains optimistic.
Leaving the Institute, Teyssier meets Ferigno. The latter tells him about the cocaine that we had found at Teyssier’s five years ago, just when he was to launch his brand. Teyssier understands that Ferigno knows the identity of the person who had stashed the drugs in his home. But his rival refuses to tell him who it is so easily…
Admiring Souleymane’s work, chef Meyer offers him to work for her. He will thus have to create the vegetable garden which would supply all his restaurants. Souleymane is very flattered by the proposal. Chef Meyer understands that this is not an easy decision to make and lets him think about it.
A little later, Antoine asks Souleymane to organize a two-hour intervention for the Second Years in order to make up for Landiras’ absence. The young man accepts and does very well. Deva is particularly proud of him. She is also relieved that tensions have eased between them. Souleymane confides in him that he may be leaving the Institute to accept the position offered by Chef Meyer. Deva is happy for him. Souleymane believes it is time for him to turn the page.
At the end of the day, Antoine congratulates his son on the success of his intervention with the students. He offers her a position as a lecturer at the Institute. Souleymane is torn between the desire to stay in his comfort zone and the desire to flourish elsewhere. As a father, Antoine above all wants him to be happy.
Very stressed, Salomé pitches her concept to Thomas: she had the idea of a restaurant allowing to combine high gastronomy and healthy food. In this case, she does not stop only at organic, local and vegetarian products, but she also thinks about food allergies or even diabetes. She therefore suggests replacing allergens and lowering the calories of the dishes in order to attract a clientele that does not go to the stars because they are careful about what they eat.
Thomas finds several counter-arguments, which panics Salomé. She falls back on her second idea: a restaurant specializing in Camargue. Thomas decides to cancel his meeting in order to help him prepare his pitch.
At the Atelier, the Master’s students present their project to each other. Charlene offers a low calorie restaurant. Salomé dares not say that she had almost the same idea and speaks rather of a restaurant of Camargue specialties on a boat. She relies on her particular attachment to the Camargue region, where she grew up with her host family, and on several typical dishes to revisit. Charlène replies that there is nothing original about her project. Anaïs, meanwhile, stands up for her best friend.
When presenting her project to Edouard Fayet and Rose Armand, Salomé therefore set out with her idea for a Camargue boat-restaurant. When Solal’s father asks her what makes his project different from other local restaurants, the young girl replies that she doesn’t know. She finally prefers to tell them about her initial idea and offers them to rework it to present to them on Monday. However, Rose cannot make an exception. Disappointed, Saloé prefers not to pitch at all and leaves the Atelier.
