Thursday, June 8 in Here it all begins…

Hortense discovers the truth

In Teyssier’s office, Eliott talks about his evening the night before at the Rochemonts. The director then tells him about the suspicions he shares with Mehdi and Vic about Eugenie. Eliott, meanwhile, does not see her hurting Hortense.

After which, Eliott finds Mehdi and Vic at the student hostel. He confirms to them that he hasn’t noticed anything suspicious in relation to Eugenie the day before. But Mehdi and Vic are still very worried. They succeed in convincing him to reason with Hortense.

Eliott joins his best friend at the Atelier for a cooking session. As he tries to broach the subject with her, Eugenie arrives unexpectedly. Eliott decides to bring up Hortense’s professorship in front of her mother, hinting that she could always change her mind. He notices that Eugenie’s behavior changes. Once she’s gone, Eliott confesses to Hortense that he now sides with Teyssier, Mehdi and Vic. He suggests to his best friend to find out the truth once and for all.

During this time, Eugénie meets Livio in the corridor of the Institute. The latter challenges him to ask him to convince Teyssier that he is innocent. The young man fears that he will never be hired somewhere again. But Eugenie declares that she cannot do anything for him.

Returning to the infirmary, Eugenie meets Vic, who is suffering from a headache. As she intends to give him paracetamol, Eugenie realizes that the lock of her medicine cabinet has been forced open. Inside, a box of painkillers is missing.

Eugénie and Vic immediately talk about it to Hortense and Eliott. The latter says he saw Livio leaving the infirmary at noon. Eugenie is surprised, then recounts her interview with him in the hallway, confessing that he looked desperate. Since too much painkillers can lead to suicide, everyone is worried. Hortense, who feels bad, goes to rest at the boarding school.

A little later, Eugenie goes to see her daughter in her room. She finds her in tears on the ground. Hortense learned that Livio was in the hospital because he had taken too much painkiller. She feels guilty for having led him to suicide. Eugenie tries to console her daughter. Seeing her in this state, she ends up revealing that it was she who poisoned him and accused Livio. Suddenly, Hortense dries her tears and gets up. Vic comes out of hiding, having filmed the whole scene with his phone.

The Rochemont sisters orchestrated everything about Livio to get their mother to confess. Trapped, Eugenie is forced to admit that she poisoned her daughter from the moment she refused the job at Koba. She admits to having faked the results of her analyzes in order to be able to drug her. Vic is shocked. Hortense does not want to hear her mother’s explanations and kicks her out…

Amber has a crush on Axel

After studying at the marsh roommate, Axel decided to sleep on the couch. He is woken up by David and Deva having a pillow fight, then by Amber bringing back breakfast. She comes to reassure him about his situation with Jasmine, certain that everything will work out once the exams are over. Axel doubts it, especially because he does not find himself as mature as his girlfriend on certain things and in particular on parenthood. Amber nevertheless encourages him to discuss with Jasmine.

Later, Amber and Deva find Jasmine in the park of the Institute. This one comes back from the pediatrician, where Naël had his vaccines. The girls encourage Jasmine to renew the dialogue with her boyfriend.

Before a lesson, Axel goes to see his girlfriend. She takes care of Naël, who has a fever in reaction to his vaccine. The couple still tries to communicate. Neither of them want to continue to worry about each other during the revisions. But they can’t really go into the subject in depth because Jasmine has to take care of her son and Axel has to rush to school.

While looking for his classroom, Axel passes by the Workshop, where Ambre and Deva are revising. Amber immediately tries to find out if he was able to talk to Jasmine. Axel says they haven’t really had time, but it’s only a postponement. When he leaves, Deva notices Amber staring at him. She then guesses that her friend likes Axel. Amber readily admits this, but she assures him that it will pass and that she really wants things to work out between him and Jasmine.

Solal finally gets an answer from Rose

In the park, Solal is relieved to receive a message from Rose asking to see him after avoiding him all week. He tells David and Lionel who made a declaration of love to him last Friday and that she was troubled. If David encourages him to have the end of the story, Lionel remains convinced that he has no chance.

Solal goes to Rose’s office. She reframes him a bit abruptly: he should never have come to her house to tell her all that. While she wishes to put an end to their professional collaboration, Teyssier requires their presence in the afternoon to study the progress of their book.

It is therefore together that they go to the terrace of the Double A. Rose presents her texts to Teyssier and Clotilde, who find them very good. The director suggests to his colleague and his assistant to paint the portrait of the chef Listrac. Rose declares that she will take care of it alone in order to give Solal time for his revisions.

Rose then returns home, where she finds her companion. As they prepare to make love, Rose is interrupted by messages of apology from Solal. She takes the opportunity to tell Antoine what happened. She really hopes that Solal’s feelings for her will eventually go away.
