In the next episode of “Here it all begins”… Claire makes surprising revelations. Laetitia faces a new challenge: serving at Double A. Maya develops a crush on Ethan.

Claire is covering for someone
Before notifying the police, the Armands, as well as Teyssier and Aurélien give Claire a chance to explain her action. She says she contacted Lucie as soon as she learned about Auguste’s double life. She made him aware of her existence and that of Louis. When Auguste found out, he was furious. He said he never wanted to see them again. Louis actually remembers being very hurt that his father did not want him in his life. For Claire, seeing her son in this state was too much. And she took action.
Louis then defends his mother by declaring that she is a victim. Rose, meanwhile, points out that Augustus made it clear in his audios that he didn’t want his killer to go to jail. For Axel, it is up to justice to decide. Claire promises them that she will assume her act. She simply asks them for time to announce it herself to Olivia, before denouncing herself to the gendarmerie the following evening. Everyone is in agreement. Teyssier is the only one to have doubts about Claire’s guilt.
In the kitchen, Axel motivates his team for their last service before Lucie closes. The young man does not know when he will be able to reopen his restaurant given his family situation. Jasmine and Lionel have a hard time realizing that Chief Guinot is guilty of Auguste’s death. Thibault, who spoke about it to his father, is of their opinion. Annoyed, Axel prefers that it does not spread. Charlène, to whom Louis refuses to speak, comes as reinforcements to take her mind off things.
After the service, Jasmine and Axel clean the kitchens. The latter confides his confusion to his girlfriend. He is both happy to know the truth about his father’s death but also saddened for Claire and Louis. Jasmine offers him to go to the beach to rest quietly, but Axel prefers to stay alone.
For her part, Charlène finds Louis. The latter feels guilty for what is happening to his mother and fears that she will not hold up in prison. Charlene assures him that he had nothing to do with it and promises that they will be there to support her. When Louis wonders why Charlene is always by his side despite the problems, she declares her undying love for him.
Teyssier, meanwhile, inspects Auguste’s office. He is surprised by Aurélien, who wonders what he is doing. Emmanuel does not believe the story of the bracelet: he wonders why Axel would not have seen the jewel as soon as he found Aurélien unconscious on the ground. According to him, someone put Claire’s bracelet in the office after the fact in order to make her accuse in his place. Aurélien wonders why chef Guinot would have lied.
Meanwhile, Louis reunites with his mother. He begs her not to report herself to the police, because they both know he’s the real culprit…
Laetitia takes on a new challenge
At the pop-up, Zacharie highlights Laetitia’s daily progress. At the same time, Deva comes to see him because someone is missing for the Double A service. She hopes to recruit Kelly, but Zacharie cannot cook at the pop-up alone. He suggests that he recruit Laetitia instead. Deva is not convinced, but the chief insists by praising him for his merits. Laetitia, meanwhile, agrees to lend a hand.
Once Deva has left, Laetitia however admits to Zacharie and Kelly that she does not feel up to it at all. She fears making mistakes. To reassure her, Kelly then reminds her of her immense capacity for adaptation. She also advises her not to be shy about asking questions if she doesn’t know something.
At Double A, a customer asks Laetitia to find out if there is gluten in a dish. Panicked, Laetitia tells him that there is none, when she has no idea. She ends up retracing her steps to confess it to him, then goes to inquire with Deva to obtain the information. The client appreciates his honesty.
After the service, Laetitia confides in Kelly. She is delighted with her experience despite the small incident with a client that she quickly caught up with. Deva comes to congratulate her for her great job. She hopes to be able to count on her if necessary during the holidays, which Laetitia confirms to her with pleasure.
Maya has a crush on Ethan
For the summer camp, Salomé brings her students together in the amphitheater to have them work on the barbecue. She offers them to test cooking at low temperature which makes it possible to obtain very tender meat. While Maya is rather dubious, Ethan encourages her to try.
If Ethan succeeds in the exercise, Maya fails to cook her meat because she has lifted the lid of her barbecue too often. Ethan underlines that it is not a failure, but an apprenticeship which will serve him to pass the contest of the Institute. He states that she is gifted but that she gets stuck because of the pressure she puts on herself.
At the end of the lesson, Salomé suggests that the students have a picnic on the beach to relax. If Antoine and Léonard decline the invitation, Maya and Ethan are ready. Salomé also plans to invite Gaëtan.
At the beach, Salomé and Gaëtan are playing volleyball, while Maya and Ethan are chatting together, lying on the sand. Salome then trades places with Ethan and notices that Maya has a crush on him. The young girl recognizes that Ethan pleases her physically, but also for his ability to appease her.
After their volleyball game, the four gather around a picnic. Having followed Ethan’s advice, Maya took advantage of the few embers on her barbecue after class to cook vegetable skewers while having fun. The result appeals to everyone.
