Louis surrenders to the police
Faced with the sudden disappearance of his daughter, Teyssier died of worry. He quickly guesses that she fled with Louis. Théo and Axel are also worried. Everyone is wondering whether to call the police.
After spending the night with Louis in a hotel in Narbonne, Charlène explains to him the rest of her plan: drive to Barcelona, then take a plane to a Latin American country like Mexico or Argentina, which do not extradite to France. There, they will be forgotten for a few years, before opening their restaurant. At the same time, Charlène receives numerous notifications on her mobile. She finds that her relatives are trying to reach her. But she does not let herself be softened and leaves with Louis.
For his part, Teyssier goes to Claire’s to warn her of his intention to call the police. Claire begs him to wait a bit because if her son is arrested while on the run, it risks aggravating his case. Teyssier agrees to wait another two hours.
During this time, Louis takes advantage that Charlène has fallen asleep in the car to drive to the gendarmerie. By opening her eyes, Charlène understands that he has no intention of running away with her. Louis admits that he must take responsibility for his actions. The couple kiss to say goodbye.
At the Institute, Teyssier prepares to call the police because he still has no news. Claire fears the worst. At the same time, Charlène arrives. She tells them that Louis has surrendered.
Returning to his office, Teyssier comes across Aurélien. The latter is satisfied that justice has been done, unlike Emmanuel who would have preferred to respect Auguste’s wishes. In any case, Teyssier no longer wants to see Aurélien at the Institute.
In the school, rumors around Louis and the murder of Auguste begin to circulate. Reviews are mixed. Some students are happy that Louis is leaving the Institute, others feel compassion for him.
Back home, Charlène gets yelled at by her father until Theo comes to her defense. Emmanuel apologizes to his daughter, explaining that he was worried sick. Charlene takes refuge in his arms, crying.
Teyssier then returns to the Institute for a crisis meeting with Antoine, Rose and Clotilde. The prosecutor will not make a statement before the end of the week, which gives them time to prepare a press release to defend themselves against probable attacks from the press. But at the same time, they receive an alert on their phone and realize that the info has already appeared in the newspapers. The murder of Augustus by his own son makes headlines…
Laetitia spins around
Back at her office, Laetitia finds a pile of application files for the entrance examination that she has to scan. She hopes to be efficient because she has one hour left before her service at the pop-up. Antoine then suggests letting the students who have returned from the internship take their place at the pop-up so that Laetitia can focus on administrative emergencies.
At the pop-up, Laetitia observes Tom resuming his position as a waiter. Zacharie explains that Myriel left him no choice. Saddened, Laetitia returns to her office without taking dessert.
A little later, Zacharie brings him one in the park. He tries to understand what is happening. Laetitia admits to him having had a revelation during her day at Double A. She really wants to retrain in the service. She therefore plans to train in Double A. Encouraged by her companion, Laetitia intends to speak to Antoine, sure that he will support her.
Laetitia returns to the office, finishes processing all her files, then prepares tea for Antoine to put him in the best conditions and talk to him about his project. Antoine points out, however, that the Double A training is intended for students and not for adults. Instead, he suggests that he do part-time work at the Institute so that he can follow a course in hospitality. Disappointed, Laetitia retracts and prefers to drop.
Maya tries her luck with Ethan again
At the swamp roommate, Maya tells Salome and Leonard that her attempt to get closer to Ethan failed because he declined her invitation saying he was already taken. Maya took it as a clear signal that he wasn’t interested and would rather let it go. But Salomé and Léonard encourage him on the contrary to try again.
At the studio, Ethan cooks with David, who still wonders why he didn’t accept Maya’s invitation the night before. Ethan explains that he doesn’t know if he really likes her. At the same time, Maya arrives to offer him a drink with her during the day. Ethan takes advantage of receiving a message from Axel to decline his invitation again, claiming to have to spend time with his best friend.
Later, Ethan finds Axel on the beach and catches up with the latest news. Axel then asks her about Maya. Ethan admits that he likes her but that he is not ready to have a serious relationship. And he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship with a one-night stand either.
