We know the date of the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) in 2024. An event during which we will undoubtedly discover the new features of the One UI 7 interface based on Android 15.

What will the Samsung One UI 7 interface look like? It will be based on the Android 15 update that is still under development, it remains to be seen when compatible Galaxy smartphones will get it. That’s good, we already have a little clue.

Samsung Developer Conference 2024 Date

Samsung has officially announced the date of its next Samsung Developer Conference (SDC). The appointment is therefore given on October 3, 2024 for this conference essentially dedicated to developers – like Apple’s WWDC or Google I/O -, but which remains interesting to follow for users.

Indeed, it is very likely that the new One UI 7 features will be unveiled by Samsung during SDC 2024.

This would remain consistent with Samsung’s usual schedule. Last year, the stable version of One UI 6 rolled out from the end of October 2023 after spending a few weeks in beta.

Priority to Galaxy S24

With Samsung One UI 7, we can expect the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra to be the first smartphones to benefit from the update.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 – whose presentation is expected on July 10, 2024 in Paris – should logically benefit from the new interface in a second phase, a few weeks apart, according to our wet-fingered estimates.

Finally, it is a safe bet that the artificial intelligence functions of Galaxy AI continue to be the center of attention, as has been the case since the presentation of the S24 at the beginning of 2024.
