(AOF) – Herige announces that it is entering into exclusive negotiations with the Samse Group with a view to the sale of its materials, public works and natural stone trading branch. For this construction specialist, it is a question of refocusing on its two other activities, namely the concrete industry and industrial carpentry. The proposed sale represents 383.5 million euros in turnover and 79 points of sale in the Greater West. All 1,155 employees would join the Samse Group, thus participating in strengthening the brand’s geographical network.
This operation would allow Herige to reduce debt by around 120 million euros and realize a capital gain on the sale of around 24 million euros, “i.e. +16% on equity”.
The finalization of this project is expected in spring 2024.
