Heritage Days 2022: this online map shows the whole program

For Heritage Days, whose 2022 theme is “Sustainable Heritage”, you can use the online map to locate and filter the activities that interest you.

As every year at the start of the school year, two days are devoted to French Heritage. In 2022, they take place this weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 28 September. For the occasion, a string of historic places open their doors or offer activities. Know-how is also promoted or events created for the occasion. You can visit castles as well as museums, industrial wastelands, gardens, artists’ studios, thematic exhibitions, or even attend concerts.

The theme in 2022 is topical: Sustainable Heritage, ” the valorization of our past and the preparation of a responsible future being two perfectly compatible and intimately linked issues “. In fact, specific initiatives related to the environment will be highlighted — related to the use of natural materials, ecological methods, for example.

There is a full map with filters

The Heritage Days have an interactive online map that lists all the places and events over these two days. It is available on the official website by clicking here. The advantage is that you can see at a glance what can be done near you this weekend.

You can also mobilize filters. Just click at the top right of the window, on “Filter”. You will be able to select the type of event that interests you (concert, workshops for young audiences, visits, etc.) or even the type of place (you can, for example, display only the castles if that is what interests you).

Please note that many events require registration. Many are therefore likely to be already full if you only inquire now. Check via the map which activity is thus limited or not (similarly, it is possible to show only 100% free activities).
