Hervé Neau, mayor of Rezé, killed himself

Former teacher and director of an elementary school in his city, Hervé Neau was elected mayor of Rezé in July 2020, after leading “Rezé citoyenne”, a dissident leftist list of the PS. The town hall has set up a psychological unit for municipal officials and elected officials. According to “Ouest-France”, his first deputy, Agnès Bourgeais, will act as mayor of Rezé.
