(Boursier.com) — Hewlett Packard Enterprise unveiled last night quarterly financial results above market expectations, with cost control and despite a still unfavorable market environment. The group posted adjusted earnings per share of 52 cents versus 50 cents consensus. Expenditures for this fourth fiscal quarter were reduced by 17% to $6.8 billion. The Texan group achieved revenues of $7.35 billion, down 7% year-on-year, but quite close to analysts’ expectations. For the first fiscal quarter of 2024, which has just begun, adjusted earnings per share are anticipated between 42 and 50 cents, compared to a consensus of 47 cents. Revenues are expected between $6.90 and $7.30 billion, compared to the average broker estimate of $7.28 billion.
