Very good annual performance of all activities in a disturbed environment

For its fourth quarter of 2021, the HEXAOM Group announces revenue of €289.2 million, up +6.5% (+1.5% at constant scope) compared to the same period last year . This level of production remains sustained but has been strongly impacted by the extension of delivery times in the supply chain of materials suffered by all players in the building industry.

In this complex environment still disrupted by the effects of the health crisis, the HEXAOM Group still shows very good performance. Revenue for 2021 is thus close to one billion euros and stands at €996.6 million, up +13.0% compared to 2020 (+9.7% at constant scope). This growth is driven by all of the Group’s businesses:

  • The activity Building of Houses recorded revenue of €718.5 million, representing organic growth of +3.5% over the year as a whole.
  • The activity Renovation greatly contributes to the dynamics of the Group with an annual turnover of €181.7 million, up by +18.5%. B2B renovation generated revenue of €132.5 million, up 18.7%. B2C renovation confirmed its excellent outlook with an 18.3% increase in activity to €49.2 million.
  • New activities Development and Promotion are, as expected, experiencing strong growth and contribute a total of €96.4 million to the Group’s annual activity. Land development increased by +172.2% to €29.4 million (+148.8% at constant scope). Real estate development is up by +183.9% at €67.0 million (+72.0% at constant scope).

Excellent commercial dynamics with record sales exceeding one billion euros in the Home Construction activity

House Building Activity

For the Home Construction activity, the last quarter remained dynamic with sales up +13% in value and +3.2% in number, this, in a context of strong price changes practiced to cope with the increase construction costs (materials and subcontracting) as well as changes in regulatory standards (RE 2020).

Over the year as a whole, the Home Construction business posted excellent performances. The HEXAOM Group has thus signed a record 8,578 orders over 12 months, representing revenue of €1,153.6 million, i.e. growth of +29.2% in value and +21.2% in number. . The average annual selling price rose to €134.5 thousand excluding tax.

Renovation activity

B2C activity is also benefiting from good trends. Over 12 months, order intake for RENOVERT and CAMIF HABITAT reached €49.1 million, up 22.3%. The intermediated ILLICO TRAVAUX activity increased by +74% to €60.7 million.

This activity continues to benefit both from the development of its network and from a market boosted by the large number of transactions in the old sector.

B2B renovation posted, as announced, an assumed decline of -38.2% in order intake to €98.6 million, in order to temporarily limit growth and focus on margin recovery.

Activities Promotion and Land Development

Land Development is continuing at a sustained rate of development and has an order book (reserved stock not recorded) at the end of December 2021 of €37.5 million, i.e. 559 lots.

The property development activity also confirms very good growth prospects. Thus, as of December 31, 2021, the backlog amounts to €88.6 million and the entire potential stock represents a turnover to be delivered of €369.6 million, i.e. 1,806 housing units.

Good commercial performances which should allow the HEXAOM Group to achieve a good financial year 2022

For 2022, due to the excellent commercial performance recorded over the whole of the 2021 financial year, and despite the extension of construction times, production should once again show growth. However, the Group will remain very vigilant about maintaining its margins in a context of rising material prices and the application of the new 2020 Environmental Regulations.
