Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy is making headlines again. Nothing official but a fan managed to uncover hidden gameplay elements that some have been waiting to see for a while.
Since its promotion via the State of Play in March, Hogwarts Legacy has been discreet. Still, the game set in the Harry Potter universe is still slated for release in 2022. In the meantime, fans are looking to learn more about the RPG any way they can, and it’s paying off.
An overview of the Hogwarts Legacy user interface
Hogwarts Legacy has certainly had its fill of gameplay, but some questions remain unanswered. Starting with the user interface, systematically hidden at each of the game’s appearances. Yet a die-hard fan managed to discover what it looked like. The information was hidden in the State of Play presentation and was only visible for a fraction of a second during a transition. Suffice to say that no one would have seen it if this fan had not spent the 14 minutes of gameplay on a loop.
Luckily, the HUD elements shouldn’t be very bulky with the four spells affiliated with the controller keys and what appears to be a mini-map in the top left. It remains to be seen if the interface will become busier during boss fights, but we would obviously be on something quite refined. However, this is probably not the final UI and it may change before its release, still scheduled for 2022 according to the latest news.
