The older a smartphone is, the slower it becomes over time. Software updates not only provide new functions and a better user interface, but also artificially shorten the lifespan of our cell phones.
And even if you have a lot of apps, photos and videos on your smartphone, the performance of your phone can decrease noticeably.
But there is a trick that can be used to make the devices a little faster again: they are animated so that apps can be opened, closed, switched and operated smoothly. It is hardly noticeable to the naked eye, but the small, short animations cost resources.
If you switch this off, the overall performance is no longer quite as smooth, but the performance of your smartphone can be improved somewhat.
