During the Game Awards, the presence of Hideo Kojima was guaranteed and we all expected to see a first presentation ofOverdose, the new horror game on which the Japanese creator would be working. But surprise, it’s finally death stranding 2 (Where DS2) which was made official first with an impressive video. We therefore imagine that this is the project that will be released first and on which Kojima will focus most of his time in 2023, but he still hopes to tell us more about his other game soon.
No Kojima Overdose before 2023
In a video message posted on YouTube to celebrate Kojima Productions’ seventh anniversary, the director had a quick word about the other project he’s working on in addition to death stranding 2 :
” In addition to DS2, we are also preparing a brand new game and other projects. I hope to bring you more information on all of these elements next year. »
It will therefore be necessary to be patient until the officialization of Overdose, if the project retains this name. It is not yet known when the second installment will be released. death strandingbut we hope to hear from both projects before E3 2023 or the next Summer Game Fest.
