Léa Seydoux, Mads Mikkelsen, Guillermo Del Toro, Edgar Wright… Hideo Kojima seems determined to link industries, faithfully accustomed to collaborations with various established Hollywood names. The prestigious list grows a little longer, since Jordan Peele, the director of Get Out, Us Or Nopewell versed in modernized horror, supports the Japanese creator for this new project named OD, or Overdose. And since we are in the purest Kojimesque tradition, the trailer unveiled for the occasion stands out for its nebulous and mysterious spirit, and for a directing in front of the camera by two actors from the new project, including Sophia Lillis.
Overdose
On stage, Kojima announces: OD will be “a new form of media” (this reminds us of a certain promotional message for a previous project by the prolific creator). If its trailer in no way allows us to get an idea of the positions taken in terms of gameplay, it nevertheless has the gift of posing a certain atmosphere. We also recall that, OD is therefore this famous exclusive project from Kojima Productions for Microsoft: the game will be exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PC.
