Before the fourth month, many do not want to tell anything about their pregnancy. But it is not that easy to deceive others for weeks. We have some clever tricks for you!

Many pregnant women know the problem: After the positive test you are full of euphoria and would like to tell everyone that you will have children. But to be absolutely sure that the child develops as expected in the first few months, many delay proclaiming the good news until the fourth month.

The stupid thing about it: How do you hide the pregnancy when suddenly you are a new version of yourself? No more alcohol, no sushi, no more cigarettes? What’s going on all of a sudden? We browsed the Urbia forum a bit and brainstormed the editorial office: Here are the ultimate excuses for difficult situations. And don’t worry, they’re white lies, so you won’t go to hell for that!

1. “Sorry, I have to drive”

Do you have a car? Perfect! Then go to the meetings with your friends as often as possible. It is clear as day that as a driver you don’t drink alcohol.

2. “I’ve got it on my stomach”

Everyone has such a small stomach upset! If necessary, you can blame your changed eating or drinking behavior on health problems.

3. “I have to take antibiotics”

Our health can also serve here. Because if you take antibiotics, for example because of a bladder infection, you have to take it easy and under no circumstances should you consume alcohol.

4. “I’m just running a challenge”

“I don’t want to drink alcohol or smoke for a few weeks now.” Sounds plausible if you combine it with a personal challenge. Maybe you made a bet with someone. Ideal, of course, during Lent!

5. “Yesterday I had a glass too much”

Sure, with a hangover you don’t want to go straight back to alcohol with a hangover.

6. “I can’t see that stuff anymore”

Why are you suddenly not eating tiramisu anymore? Well, because the last time after that you felt kind of bad. Since then you’ve been getting up just looking at this stuff!

7. “I have such a backache, can you just lift the heavy box?”

Heavy lifting should be avoided early in pregnancy. Just like with back pain …

8. “I have some kind of intolerance, I’ve always been so bloated lately”

Can you already see a tummy in you? Blame it on the good old “food baby” …

9. “I’ve finally decided to quit smoking – it’s just so unhealthy!”

So hopefully there won’t be any more questions.
