Hilaria Baldwin suffered two miscarriages in 2019. On Rainbow Baby Day, she remembers her heavy loss on Instagram – and is happy about her youngest children.
2019 was a bad year for Hilaria Baldwin, 37. The yoga entrepreneur and wife of US actor Alec Baldwin, 63, lost two unborn children within a few months. On the day of the rainbow babies, she remembered the loss on Instagram – and celebrated her two children who were born after the miscarriages.
Hilaria Baldwin commemorates her “rainbow babies”
In April 2019, Hilaria Baldwin learned that the baby she was pregnant with no longer had heartbeats. In September 2019, she announced that she was pregnant again. The following November, she suffered repeated miscarriages. The turnaround will be in autumn 2020. Son Eduardo Pau Lucas was born. In 2021, daughter Maria Lucia Victor followed by surrogacy and completes the childhood happiness of the Baldwins, who now have six children in addition to Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo and Romeo.
Baldwin dedicated an emotional post on Instagram to the two youngest children on the day of the rainbow babies on August 22nd. Rainbow babies are children who are born after a stillbirth, miscarriage or sudden infant death of a sibling. Like a rainbow after a storm, the children bring color and light back into their parents’ lives. Hilaria Baldwin shared a picture of the two little ones. To this end, she wrote a text intended to give hope to other mothers who have also suffered a miscarriage.
“I thought that I would cry forever”
“When I lost my babies in 2019, I thought I would cry forever,” she writes. She is still sad, but also allows herself to be happy about her rainbow children. “I also greet and am happy about my two rainbow babies and feel that I am a happy mom. We open up and heal loudly, not only for ourselves, but to let our sisters know that they are not alone”.
