Hilaria Baldwin: She likes to be supported by a nanny

Hilaria Baldwin (36), wife of actor Alec Baldwin (62, "Still Alice"), has spoken out in an interview with the podcast "Mom School" against critics who question the support of parents by a nanny. Having a nanny doesn't mean you don't take care of your own children, says Baldwin, who is expecting her fifth child in September after having had two miscarriages last year. "It just means that I work too. I work every day. And it's not fair if people make you feel bad."

After a while of self-isolation, the Baldwin couple rented accommodation near their home so that the nanny could continue to support the family. "Neither my nor Alec's family live close by," continues Hilaria Baldwin. "At the moment my children are 2, 3, 4 and almost 7 years old. It is okay to accept help. You shouldn't be ashamed of it, even if people want to tell you that."

Born in the corona crisis

The family has been living very carefully since the outbreak of the corona pandemic. "We are totally paranoid about contagion. They say you are at risk at 60 and Alec recently turned 62. You also don't have a good immune system as a pregnant woman," explains Baldwin. The mother-to-be is also already thinking about the birth in times of Corona. "My doctor told me that I probably have to wear a mask and that we're going to be tested. I hope Alec can be there, for sure that's not yet."

Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have been a couple since 2011 and have been married since 2012. They already have four children together: Carmen (6), Rafael (4), Leonardo (3) and Romeo (2). Alec Baldwin also has daughter Ireland Baldwin (24) from marriage (1993-2002) with Kim Basinger (66).
