After the tragic accident on the set of “Rust”, Alec Baldwin’s wife got in touch. She thinks of the deceased and their family.
After an accident on the set of the western “Rust”, in which a camerawoman was killed, Hilaria Baldwin, 37, is now making her first public comment on the tragedy. On Instagram, she writes that her heart is with Halyna, her husband and son, her family and loved ones – as well as with “my Alec”.
While filming in the US state of New Mexico, a shot was apparently accidentally fired a few days ago when her husband, actor Alec Baldwin, 63, was rehearsing a prop weapon that was handed to him. This comes from a questioning of the director Joel Souz, 48, by the police, which is available to the US broadcaster “NBC”, among others. Halyna Hutchins, 42, and Souza were met on the set. The camerawoman died as a result of her injuries, Souza is, according to the production, on the mend.
A tragic accident
It has already been said that there are “no words” for such a tragedy, continues Baldwin, “for it is impossible to express the shock and grief of such a tragic accident”. Her husband had previously spoken on Twitter. “There are no words to express my shock and grief over the tragic accident in which Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and colleague we hold dear, was killed,” he wrote.
