A final farewell to Lola. On October 14, the body of the 12-year-old girl was discovered lifeless and mutilated in a plastic trunk that had been placed in the courtyard of a building in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. It was earlier in the evening that her parents, both building caretakers, had reported her disappearance, not seeing her return from her college, located a few minutes from her home. On the CCTV footage, they notice Lola alongside a young woman. The latter is none other than the main suspect in this case: Dabhia B, aged 24, who arrived in France six years earlier on a student visa. Marginal, the young woman would have, according to her relatives, “burst out of anger” upon the death of his mother. She was imprisoned and placed in solitary confinement in Fresnes prison.

Always ready to help. Your kindness had no limits, it was natural for you. You will leave a great void behind us, the youngest of the family that everyone liked to tease. […] Our grief is immense. […] We love you, Lola”, she concluded. After the ceremony, Lola’s white coffin was buried “in the strictest privacy”.
