However, the two artists have already been confronted with an argument that could have gone wrong. Proof of this is the revelations of the interpreter of “Rockollection”, who blows his 74th candle this Sunday, December 18, in the documentary Alain Souchon, the soundtrack of his life. In the program, Laurent Voulzy notably confided that his sidekick, who was waiting to receive new songs from this first one, had lost patience because of the time he was taking to record his album. “L‘recording for me, it never ends. I’m taking a crazy time”he said, before adding: “So I got involved with him. He m‘had said : ‘We have to write songs.‘ I told him ‘Yes, Alan‘ and the‘record number‘was over.”
Despite the complicity between the two artists, the exchanges quickly became tense. “Then one day he said to me: ‘Laurent, it’s been months since I‘wait until‘we make songs together.’ I told him : ‘I don’t‘haven’t finished recording.‘ And there, they‘is carried away for ten seconds and we‘is hung up on“he had revealed, specifying nevertheless that it was about a more than unusual episode: “I believe it‘is the only time in our lives.” Fortunately, none “violent word” was pronounced and they were able to calm the situation. “Thirty seconds later, I‘called Alain back. I told him : ‘We can’t argue about that.’ It was sweeter“concluded Laurent Voulzy.
