This Sunday, September 10, Louane’s companion, Florian Rossi revealed on his Instagram account to be suffering from a disabling disease. While he appears to be cured now, he has disclosed the symptoms that put him through “hell”.
It was during the summer of 2017 that Louane and her companion met when the singer released her second album. “It was a real blow. Real one-sided love at first sight”, explained Louane, in 2021, in the podcast of Bliss Stories. “He was waiting in a kind of living room which is between the studio and the cabin, and when I opened the door, he didn’t see me, because he was doing something else, and he did not raise his head. It was finished”, she confided. For eight years, Louane was therefore in love in silence. “He was with someone, so for me it was not possible. I think it’s been seen for a few moments, but I made sure it didn’t catch on“she concluded.
But, despite this first meeting which did not bode well, Louane had finally decided to confess her feelings to Florian Rossi during his tour. “It was very hard, but at the same time, it’s the most beautiful thing that has happened to me. From that moment on, I didn’t have the same life at all”, explained Louane. “For the first time in my life, I met someone who really understood me”, she added. Since then, the two lovers have been inseparable and have a beautiful love story. In March 2020, they also reached a milestone by becoming parents for the first time of a little girl, named Esme.

This Sunday, September 10, Florian Rossi spoke on his Instagram account through a story. The musician, known as Pegase, who has worked with many artists such as Soprano, Stromae, or Kendji Girac, revealed to have a disease that handicaps him on a daily basis. “I had diplacousis, It started in July following an ear infection which degenerated a little. Basically, it’s when the diseased ear perceives a sound at a different pitch than the healthy ear. You can imagine the cacophony and therefore the hell that it can be. Can’t make music listening to music, being in noisy places“, he explained.
A fairly disturbing health problem when working in the music world. However, he seems to be on the road to recovery. He also took the opportunity to reassure those who, like him, suffer from this disease. “In any case, if it helps people not to panic and to be patient, that’s it: it’s a symptom that is not common and therefore it can be very scary when it happens, but over time, even if it is quite slow it resolves (I really thought I was going to be stuck like that). Unfortunately for some it remains permanent, but in these cases, the cause is not an ear infection, but rather big shocks for example, and it is more of a neurological nature“, did he declare. All that remains is for Florian Rossi to fully recover from his symptoms.
