Vanille, the daughter of Julien Clerc is not only a talented singer. She is also committed. On March 7, she was invited by the association “I am a woman and I exist”.
Vanille follows in the footsteps of her father, Julien Clerc. From 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the association which campaigns for living well together had organized conferences to discuss with the people present on various subjects, at the Élysée Biarritz, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Vanille Clerc therefore took part in the discussions. She expressed herself in particular:on the place of women in society and in the heterosexual couple” when she sang her song titled Fully fledged. On her Instagram account, Julien Clerc’s daughter also pointed out: “Let’s dare, let’s affirm, don’t doubt, don’t let go.” Before adding that she shared the same values as the association and that she had made “sparkling encounters” during this event.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, the singer also shared a video on her Instagram account in which she answers questions for Binder Media. She approaches it women’s rights and struggles past, present and future. She deplores in particular the difficulty of women to find a place in the field of music. According to her, sisterhood is extremely important in order to be able to help each other.
