They were worn by those around them“, she said.

Grichka Bogdanoff died on December 28, 2021, while Igor left on January 3, 2022. Plunged into an artificial coma, the latter never learned of the death of his twin brother. “But he knew his brother was going to be intubated. I was there when his brother called him, it was really a novel! Until the end they called each other, they gave each other news, they were a few rooms apart. It was both tragic and moving“, reported Amélie de Bourbon-Parme.

“We couldn’t imagine them one without the other”

With great emotion, the one who was the wife of Igor Bogdanoff for almost twenty years assured that scientists would not have been happy without each other. “Igor survived his brother for a few days, which seemed unthinkable to us, because they were so connected. We couldn’t imagine them one without the other. And at the same time we wanted to believe it. And then no, it’s fate. They couldn’t be separated for too long.“

Asked about the vaccination status of the twins, she insisted that they were not anti-vaccine at all: “They weren’t trying to evangelize anyone on this subject. It was really a decision, or a very personal non-decision, that had to do with their phobia of doctors and drugs. “

Together, Amélie de Bourbon-Parme and Igor Bogdanoff had two sons in 2011 and 2014, Alexandre and Constantin. From his old relationships, the TV host also has four children.
