Cauet then filed a complaint for “harassment of a person by means of an online public communication service”. “I am deeply shocked by the accusations made against me here. These allegations are completely false”, he declared on X.

But, last Saturday, November 18, the affair experienced a new twist. A woman filed a complaint for rape against the radio host with the gendarmerie of Saint-Laurent-sur-Saône, in Ain. According to the Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office, this complaint was filed for rape “which would have been committed between 2014, when the victim was a minor, and 2022, in Paris and Switzerland”. Six women also decided to testify. The host thus decided to wear complaint for slanderous denunciation.

Inconsistencies in the young woman’s accusations

This Tuesday, November 21, Nathalie Dartois, Sébastien Cauet’s partner, decided to react to the accusations against the host. A testimony revealed by Gilles Verdez on the set of Do not touch My TV who spoke with her at length. “He took a big blow. He is the father of a blended family, and for him, it harms his honor”, he reported. “His partner Nathalie was stunned (on learning of this complaint, Editor’s note), she conducted her own investigation. She needed to know. She supports him. He has a substantial file, he has something to defend himself with. They dissected everything about the age of the complainant. We don’t know if she is 23 or 25 years old.”, explained Gilles Verdez.

“Second inconsistency: she sent two messages to Cauet’s partner. 1st message: “You are very beautiful”, 2nd message, while Nathalie is with Cauet: “too bad I’m not there”. She displays Cauet everywhere on her social networks. She changes a lot of versions about their meeting”, continued the columnist. According to the radio host’s entourage, the young woman would be “obsessed with him”. “She wanted to join her this summer, Nathalie explained to me. It is a sort of “groupie””, declared Gilles Verdez.

According to Nathalie Dartois, he “didn’t do that, don’t do that and won’t do that”. “He’s someone who has principles, and that’s not him”, she assured. “Nathalie also told me that before their story, he had a man’s life, but iHe has never had relationships with minors, nor any complaints of this style”, he concluded. The investigation is therefore continuing. For now, Sébastien Cauet remains presumed innocent of the facts with which he is accused.
