After two days of absence on Instagram, Aurélie took the time to reveal the reasons for her silence. First, his youngest, Amélie, hurt her finger in class, requiring a medical consultation and an X-ray. Aurélie struggles to find the “adapted” splint her daughter needs, and mentions that a “special order” will probably be necessary.

The weekend took an even more dramatic turn. During a birthday celebration, a mishap on a trampoline shocked the family. “By jumping, Mathias landed on Amélie. While Amélie was complaining, Mathias had a much more serious injury”, explains Aurélie. Mathias was seriously hit in the head during this incident.

Visibly shaken, the mother recounts the frightening moment when her son showed her his bloody hands. Despite her advanced state of pregnancy, she rushed to the emergency room, helped by a neighbor. “Seeing my son in this state was traumatic. But he, seeing my distress, remained surprisingly calm,” she confides. The diagnosis was made: Mathias suffered a head trauma, requiring a staple.

After a night on the watch, concerns persist for Aurélie. “Mathias is still in pain. It’s difficult to determine if it’s due to his trauma or something else”, she says. Tonight, after school, she will know more. She waited to share this story, wanting to get away from the immediate emotion of the event.
