fun, news, tips… what else?

After a long absence due to illness, Marie Sophie Lacarrau resumed her seat at the presentation of the 1 p.m. news from TF1 this Monday, May 16. And the journalist was very moved.

After more than 5 months of absence far from the antenna, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau had a hard time hiding her emotion. After publicly thanking her replacement Julien Arnaud on Twitter, she resumed her duties. On Monday May 16, she was back on the TF1 set to present the midday newspaper, the mythical 1 p.m. Her return was eagerly awaited by viewers, and the journalist also wanted to send them an emotional message when it was taken on the air.

Marie-Sophie Lacarrau wanted to express her joy at being back in her post: “I never imagined loving this date so much one day. I’m really happy to see you again… Well, we’re back to our good habits, as if we had never left each other with Évelyne Dhéliat’s weather forecast”.

But before resuming the “classic” thread of the day’s information, she wanted to send the faithful of the JT a specific message, put into images by the editorial staff. “In recent months, many of you have heard from me and I thank you for that. Today, it is therefore I who want to know how you are doing, you, and what is your morale.” A magneto was then broadcast, in which we could see French people expressing their support for the journalist.

This pathology, which is a rare form of keratitis which can be treated quickly with antibiotics, in this case causes corneal lesions and can affect vision.

“I lived two months in the dark”, had thus told the journalist to the Parisian before adding:It was a disease with great pain”. In this sense, the presenter of the JT of TF1 had to take the time to treat herself and had thus explained: “During my four and a half months of absence, I waited to resume a normal life and my work. I had no choice, I had to take care of myself”.
