STORY – The public service is mobilizing en masse to demand wage increases. The customs officers will mobilize a little later in February, in the middle of the holiday period.

After health, education. The unprecedented and massive wave of strikes continues to spread in the United Kingdom, affecting sensitive sectors for the British population. After the nurses, it is the teachers who embark on the walkout dance. This Wednesday 1er February will be a historic day of protest for the public service, as demands for wage increases multiply against a backdrop of the cost of living crisis.

Some 120,000 teachers will strike on Wednesday across England and Wales, which will affect more than 23,000 schools. They are protesting a decade of stagnant wages, which has caused many to take second jobs after school hours or quit the profession.
