A 63-year-old moped driver from the Southeast Styria district was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Gleisdorf (Weiz district) on Saturday morning. He blames a driver who apparently hit the road.
The 63-year-old was driving his moped into a roundabout when, according to his statements, he was cut by a white car traveling at high speed. During the emergency braking, he lost control of his moped, hit the edge of the sidewalk and fell. The man’s shoulder was badly injured.
After the first aid, the injured person was taken to the Weiz LKH by the Red Cross. He stated that the car just kept going. The police are investigating.
