Hit by car – fuss about accident in front of school: girl is alive

There is great dismay about the fate of a high school student from the Güssing district in Burgenland: As reported, the ten-year-old was hit by a car on Tuesday afternoon on the street in front of the school home in Oberschützen. Doctors at the Graz State Hospital are fighting for the life of the seriously injured girl in the intensive care unit. Originally, based on a false report sent by the police, it was even said that the victim had not survived the accident.

According to the attending physician, the ten-year-old is in the intensive care unit at the Graz regional hospital with life-threatening injuries. The cause of the error is unclear It is unclear how the false report could have come about. According to the police, the hospital informed the service on Tuesday evening that the girl had died. In the hospital in Graz, however, no one can explain how the mistake could have happened.
