Hitman 3: the new Freelancer mode still postponed, a closed beta is approaching

IO Interactive had planned many novelties for theYear 2 of Hitman 3, in addition to regular community activities. He has already delivered many, including the map Ambrose Island released this summer. All eyes are now on Freelancera new mode inviting us to complete mercenary contracts, to accept from a customizable and visitable mansion.

The experiment initially planned for the spring had been postponed to the second semester, but it will still take a little longer to IO Interactive to close it. It now plans to offer Freelancer January 26, 2023, a date that could still change between now and the release. On the other hand, he assures thathe now wants to offer almost all the content of the mode at oncefor an even stronger launch.

Since our last Freelancer update in May via the Road Ahead blog, we’ve been actively (and quietly) working to improve the Freelancer launch experience.

We decided to go beyond our initial launch scope and include almost every location in the assassination world from day one. We continue to work to make the launch experience as smooth as possible for all players. We’ll have more to say about this in future Road to Freelancer articles.

The studio has already planned to talk about Freelancer in an article on October 27, when he will present a Closed Technical Test which will take place in November. It is also this month that we will be able to read the post Road to Freelancer #3, ahead of further information in December. The October Community Activities will otherwise be introduced on the 6th, alongside a 3.130 update. Latecomers can jump on the bandwagon by buying Hitman 3 from €38.90 on Amazon.co.uk.
