In the past, IO Interactive has already shown its desire to simplify the experience around its trilogy Hitman for example by selling the three games in a single bundle or by transferring the cards from the first two episodes to the third. The studio obviously wants to do even better, and this will involve a name change to Hitman IIIwho loses his registration number to be renamed Hitman: World of Assassinationwhich will serve as the basis for playing the entirety of the last three games.
Hitman I and II free for all owners of the third
From January 26, Hitman III will therefore turn into Hitman: World of Assassination to simplify things and access to the trilogy. This change will therefore aim to make things less confusing when buying episodes of the license.
By becoming Hitman: World of Assassinationthe latest opus to date will incorporate Hitman first name and Hitman II to his experience. Which means that if you only have Hitman IIIstarting January 26, you will receive a free update that will also allow you to obtain Hitman and Hitman II.
It will no longer be possible to buy the episodes separately afterwards, Hitman: World of Assassination thus becoming the only game to be offered for sale, if we exclude a Deluxe pack which will also include the DLCs. If you do not yet have these DLCs, IO Interactive warns that it will now be easier to buy them, so that you do not have to go through the Deluxe upgrade if you are only missing a few elements (so you will save a few euro).
IO Interactive hopes to make the experience more enjoyable, both for newcomers and veterans.
