With this LEGO set dedicated to Hocus Pocus, it’s Halloween every day! Pay a spellbinding tribute to the legendary 1993 film, which turns 30 on July 16, with this stunning creation: a LEGO.com exclusive straight from Salem.
And who says LEGO, says fun functions: the Sanderson sisters’ mansion is here composed of wonderful details imbued with nostalgia.
First of all, the residence opens in different ways to reveal its complete interior, composed, among other things, of the museum shop, a cauldron above a fire where a luminous brick is to be activated or even of a grimoire. The witches’ room, with a triple bed, hanging cages, bats and cobwebs, is also to be discovered thanks to the roof that can be lifted.
You can also detach the side room where Dani Dennison was captured by the witches and spin the water wheel to blast pink “smoke” out the chimney. Finally, go to the cemetery whose portal serves as a support to display your characters.
Speaking of characters, six figurines are available to you in this box: Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson of course, but also Max and Dani Dennison and Allison Watts. Also included, a Thackery Binx cat figure and accessories that will bring the mansion to life such as a green spell bolt, Dani’s Halloween pumpkin bucket, and the broom, mop and vacuum that the witches ride on fly in the movie.
On the program, 2316 pieces to assemble thanks to detailed illustrated instructions, accompanied by a booklet containing anecdotes about the film and interviews with the creator of the set and its designers. The finished product, for display, will measure over 10” (27cm) high, 10” (26cm) wide and 9” (24cm) deep—there’s plenty to impress!
